The NEE POWERHub: Peer Observation With Empowered Reflection

In addition to NEE’s online educator evaluation tool, NEE provides schools with an online peer observation tool, the NEE POWERHub, which can be purchased as an add-on to or separate from NEE’s formal evaluation tool.

The NEE POWERHub simplifies collaboration to support, grow, and retain teachers. Although housed within the same online tool, POWERHub provides a protected space for teachers to learn from and provide feedback to one another through peer observation and self-reflection. POWERHub includes an easy scheduling tool, a focused protocol, and guided feedback and reflections to make the peer observation process both manageable and effective.

Affordable Annual Pricing

As a nonprofit, NEE’s fee for service is provided at a cost-recovery basis based on district size (measured by student count), making NEE very affordable while providing districts with a powerful, research-based classroom observation tool for evaluation. NEE districts pay an affordable annual membership fee to access all of NEE’s services, including classroom observation training, the online application (the NEE Data Tool), and EdHub professional learning resources for educator professional development.

Providing these services at one price encourages training for teams of educators from each district, allowing for a smooth district-wide conversion to NEE and more effective school leadership.
